Obituary of Timothy Douglas Romagna
Timothy Douglas Romagna died at home with his family, after a sudden illness, on January 17, 2012 at age 21.
Tim, a lifetime resident of Clinton, NJ was born on June 6, 1990 and attended Clinton Public School, Rutgers Prep and graduated from North Hunterdon High School. While at Rutgers Prep, Tim played lacrosse and ran cross country. His trip to Australia and New Zealand with the People to People Organization was a highlight of his life. Tim studied at both St. John's and Farleigh Dickinson University, where he developed a love of writing and poetry.
Tim was an accomplished musician who played the guitar, drums and bass with joy. He wrote and performed his own music. Most recently Tim began building custom designed guitars with careful attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Tim cared deeply about his family and had a special ability to empathize and care for others, particularly for those in need. He is loved and cherished by his family and friends. His humor and wonderful laugh will remain forever in the memories of those who love him.
He leaves behind his loving parents, Karen (Johnson) and John Romagna, and an older brother, Matthew, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins, from a large and close family, all of whom love him dearly and will miss him.
Visitation will be held at Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Rt. 31, Clinton, NJ on Saturday January 21, from 1 to 3 p.m. and from 6 to 9 p.m. In celebration of Tim's life a Memorial Service will held at Grand Colonial on Sunday the 22nd at 1:00 pm at 86 Route 173 West, Hampton, NJ 08827.
