Obituary of Vondelle Kea Plushanski
Vondelle Kea Plushanski, age 89, of Asbury, NJ, passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2025. Born in Vidalia, Georgia on April 28th, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Dessie Miller Kea and Sarah Jane Hall Kea.
Vondelle married her husband, Frederick Plushanski, on August 24, 1953. They celebrated their 71st anniversary this past August. Together, they raised their son, Brian, who she adored. She was blessed with 3 grandchildren; Brian, , Mike and Allison, who brought her great joy.
Vondelle was a self-employed tax practitioner and accountant since 1972, and member of the National Society of Accountants. She and her husband, Frederick Plushanski, owned and operated West Norton Farms Dairy and Deli on Route 31 North in Clinton, NJ for 25 years. Vondelle was active in her community serving as a member of the Changewater United Methodist Church in Changewater, NJ, a charter member of the Hunterdon Hills Lioness Club, member of the Hunterdon Hills Lions Club, member of the V.F.W. Ladies Post 5119 in Glen Gardner, NJ, a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary in Flemington, NJ, as well as a member of the Moose Lodge in Homosassa, FL.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Frederick Plushanski.
She will be forever missed by her son, Brian Plushanski and his wife Michelle; grandchildren, Brian, Mike, and Allison; and her brother, Joseph Clarey Kea of Jacksonville, FL.
Following Vondelle's wishes all services will be held privately.
