I feel so lucky to have known Ellie for the past few years. I came as a companion a couple of days a week, and became a friend. We played endless games of scrabble, and at the first game I thought I'd go easy on this dear old gal. Well... I quickly learned that she was a killer scrabble player who beat me more often than not. Ellie loved to go "gallivanting" on hours long car rides through the countryside. I would head out and make turns on unknown roads and we'd get good and lost, then use GPS to get us back home and she thought I was so smart to always find my way back. She was so loved, generations of her family always so caring, calling, visiting, it was heartwarming to see. I will miss my scrabble gal.
