Obituary of Edward F. Vosselmann
Edward F. Vosselmann, age 84, of Phillipsburg, NJ passed away Friday, February 3, 2012 at Warren Hospital in Phillipsburg, NJ. Edward was born June 8, 1927 in Clason Point, NY. He was the son of the late Emil and the late Christine (RathJen) Vosselmann. He graduated from Machine and Metal Trades School in Manhattan, NY in 1946 and served in the Marines from 1945-1946.
Mr. Vosselmann has been living in Phillipsburg since 1992, and was previously from Clinton and Annandale. He worked for several Auto Body shops in Hunterdon County before retiring from B&B Auto Body Shop in Clinton in 1981. He enjoyed photography and was an avid collector.
He is survived by his daughter: Joyce Lavin and her husband Jeffrey of Milford, NJ , his three sons: Edward Vosselmann of Dunnellon, FL, Bruce Vosselmann and his fiancé Lisa Cullen of Dunnellon, FL, Bill Vosselmann and his wife Mary of Phillipsburg, NJ; his two grandchildren, Christine Davison and her husband Paul of Easton, PA. and Tim Vosselmann of Dunnellon, FL; a great grandson, Benjamin Davison of Easton, Pa. and his sister, Marlene Apgar of Annandale, NJ, as well as, numerous nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his Wife, Alyce in 2005 and his brother, Robert E. Vosselmann in 2011.
