Obituary of William C. Koerber
William C. Koerber, age 93, of Annandale, NJ passed away Thursday, February 9, 2012 at Hunterdon Care Center in Raritan Township, NJ. William was born March 31, 1918 in New York, NY. He was the son of the late Charles and the late Agnes (Petrasek) Koerber.
Formerly of Lake George, NY, Mr. Koerber had been living in Hampton, NJ for 8 years before moving to Annandale, NJ a short time ago. He belonged to the Senior Citizens of Queensbury, NY as well as the Senior Citizens of Hampton, NJ. Mr. Koerber also belonged to the Chamber of Commerce in Lake George, NY. He was an avid craftsman.
Mr. Koerber worked for IBM in Brooklyn, NY as a field engineer. After retiring, he owned and operated the Depe Dene Motel in Diamond Point, NY for 10 years.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Evelyn (McCormack) Koerber; his two daughters, Maureen Mikan and Susan Voit both of Annandale, NJ; his four grandchildren, Thomas Mikan Jr. of Ronkonkoma, NY, Kelly Jetter of Saratoga, NY, Melanie Miller of Yardley, PA, Meghan Lynch of Bloomsbury, NJ; his great grandchildren, Lily and Quinn Jetter, Grace, Michael and Andrew Miller and Ella Lynch. He was pre-deceased by his great granddaughter, Annie Jetter.
All services were conducted privately.
