Obituary of Dorothy L. Piperi

Dorothy L. Piperi, age 90, of Union Township, NJ died Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at Country Arch Care Center. Mrs. Piperi was born May 7, 1921 in Newark, NJ. She was the daughter of the late Dominic and the late Antonia (Machrone) Lugara. She was a longtime resident of Orange and Normandy Beach, NJ before moving to Union Twp., NJ a short time ago. Dorothy was a homemaker but most importantly she was a beloved Wife, Mother and Grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, entertaining, needle point and spending time at the beach. She is survived by her devoted husband, Vincent L. Piperi , her daughters, Dorothy Santaniello of Annandale, NJ & Toni Capawana of Livingston, NJ, her son, Vincent Piperi MD of Florida and her cherished grandson, Michael Capawana. There will be a Memorial Mass on Friday, April 13th at 10:00 am at the Immaculate Conception RC Church, 316 Old Allerton Road, Annandale, NJ. Immediately following Dorothy's Mass, friends and family are invited to join the family for a luncheon at the Clinton House, 2 West Main Street, Clinton, NJ. The Interment will be held privately and at the convenience of the family. All funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Martin Funeral Home of Clinton, NJ.
