Obituary of Ethel G. Strand

Ethel G. Strand, age 94, of Bloomsbury, NJ, died Friday, August 2, 2013 at the Country Arch Care Center in Union Township, NJ. Mrs. Strand was born May 10, 1919 in Orange, NJ. She lived in Linden, NJ and Orlando, FL before moving to Bloomsbury, NJ. She is survived by son William Strand and his wife Frances, of Turangi, New Zealand, son Tim Strand and his wife Clare of Bloomsbury, NJ and three grandchildren, Amy Nash and her husband David, Jinny Strand of Chicago, IL, and Peter Strand of Brooklyn, NY. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Thomas L. Strand, in 1988. There will be a Memorial Service for family members at Lake Hopatcong on Saturday, August 10, 2013. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Linden United Methodist Church, where Ethel was a devoted member for many years.
