Obituary of Vito Capece
Vito Capece, age 87, of Annandale, NJ died Monday, December 8, 2014 at Rolling Hills Care Center of Clinton Township, NJ. Vito was born July 28, 1927 in Newark NJ.
He was the son of the late Giuseppe and the late Carmela (Valvano) Capece.
He resided in Belleville, NJ for forty-seven years before moving to Annandale to live with his nephew, Robert and his family
He served in the Air Force during WWII as a corporal
Vito worked for Saint Lucy Roman Catholic Church in Newark NJ as a Sexton for approximately thirty years, where he served in the Guard of Honor. He was also a member of the Fife and Drum Club at Saint Lucy's Church.
Predeceased by his brothers Donato, Salvatore, Rocco and his sister Margaret, He is survived by one brother: Gerard Capece; Nephews Christopher, Greg and Robert Capece.
Vito was faithful to God, his country and family.
Visiting will be held on Thursday, December 11th from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton, NJ. There will be a Mass of Christian burial held 10:00 am on Friday, December 12 at Immaculate Conception Church, Old Allerton Road, Annandale, NJ. The Interment will follow at, The New Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Clinton Township, NJ.
