Obituary of Arthur F. Winstanley

Arthur F. Winstanley, age 86, of Clinton, NJ passed on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at his home in Clinton. Arthur was born July 30, 1928 in Brooklyn, NY. He was the son of the late Arthur and the late Catherine (Murphy) Winstanley. Arthur was employed by AT&T, Berkley Heights, NJ as an Art Director and Graphic Designer for thirty- five years from which he retired in 1987. He served in the Army during the Korean War from November 1950 to November, 13 1953. Arthur received the Bronze Star Medal, Air Medal, National Defense Service Medal, UN Service Ribbon, Korean Service Medal, and The Rox Pres Unit Citation for his services. Arthur served his community as Boy Scout Leader for many years and later as a tour guide for the Clinton NJ Red Mill, which he took much pride in. He will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend to many. He was a very special and loved man. He is survived by his wife: Kate (O'Connor) Winstanley; brother John Winstanley; four daughters: Ellie Ricci, Anne Delozier, Barbara Fowle, and Alice Winstanley; three sons: Arthur Winstanley, Michael Winstanley and James Winstanley; as well as 18 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. The memorial and celebration of Arthur's life will be held on March 21, 2015 at the Red Mill in Clinton NJ.
