Marilyn was my "idol" at Westfield High. She and Ted graduated two years before me. She was admired by everyone, not just because she was so pretty and perky, but she had it all, including Ted. Because she went to Lasell, so did I. If it was good enough for her, that was enough for me.
Growing up, Ted and I both lived on the same block on Dorian Road. My best friend Judy lived across from Ted and Charlie. We looked up to them as well.
My admiration for Mariilyn never waned, especially since she served the Lord so well at Fanwood Pres. Sincere condolences to Ted and family. Joan Lowell Smith (still in Westfield)
