Obituary of Mabel Edith Tramutola
Edith "Bunny" Tramutola (nee Brown), age 94, of Columbia, NJ died Sunday, January 25, 2015 at Clover Rest Home of Columbia, NJ. Edith was born February 13, 1920 in Elwood. She was the daughter of the late William A. and the late Mary C. (Kroothous) Brown.
A Graduate of High Bridge High School she married the late Francis Mark "Jake" Tramutola in 1933. Together they owned and operated Adventure Hill Farms in Clinton NJ for many years. Bunny assisted the Hunterdon Democrat Newspaper with many photographs and articles she wrote.
She was President of the Game Breeders Association of NJ, a member of the Hunterdon County 4-H Club and secretary of the Kittatinny Art Group. She loved to do ceramics and also imported Jacobs Sheep from England and spun the wool into many useful products.
She is survived by one daughter: Susan Waters of Columbia, NJ and one son: David Mark Tramutola of Alpha, NJ. Also surviving are her two grandchildren Daniel and James Waters.
A memorial gathering will take place Saturday, January 31st from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton , NJ. There will be a memorial service held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, January 31 at the Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in Bunny's memory to the Hunterdon County 4-H Club.
