Obituary of Edward Gardiner House

Edward G. House, age 74, of White House Station, NJ died Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center of Somerville, NJ. Edward was born October 20, 1940 in Roselle and was the son of the late Robert W. and the late Grace (Sharp) House. Ed resided in Green Brook, Tewksbury, Ship Bottom and Sanibel Island FL through out the years. He was an honest and well respected partner at The Henderson Corporation in Raritan. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. Ed loved fishing, golfing, boating, and, singing. He had a sense of humor that made you smile. Ed is survived by his beloved wife of 43 yrs, Carol (Goodliffe) House, three daughters: Debora and her husband Richard Bennett of Sanibel Island, FL, Dawn Simons of White House Station, NJ, Barbara and her husband Bill Quigley of White House Station, NJ and one son: Edward and his wife Debra House of Clinton Township, NJ. Brother of two sisters: Carol Albrecht, Jane Lavendol. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was pre-deceased by his brothers, Robert and Gordon House and his daughter, Donna Alicino. A gathering of friends and family will take place Thursday, February 5th from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton, NJ. There will be a funeral service on Friday, February 6 at 10:00am at the Funeral Home with Pastor Tracey Henry officiating. Internment will be held privately.
