Obituary of Mildred Tywanick

Mildred Tywanick, age 97, of Clinton, NJ died Monday, April 27, 2015 at Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Township, NJ. Mildred was born April 24, 1918 in Linden NJ. She was the daughter of the late John and the late Mary (Uozalas) Zalinkanskas. On January 1st, 1939 she married her husband John and resided most of her life in the Edison area. She was employed by the Menlo Park, Soldiers Home as a Switchboard Operator. Her love was her family especially her grandchildren whom she loved to watch and take care of. She was predeceased by her husband John in September of 1984, as well as her brothers and sisters Lewis, Irene, Edward and Marion. Surviving Mildred are her one daughter: Janet Deisley of Edison, NJ and one son: Mike and his wife Claudia Tywanick of Clinton, NJ; Grandchildren, Kyra and Christopher Tywanick of Clinton, Adam Deisley of Florida and Melynda Deisley of Manhattan. Also surviving are her sister-in-laws Rose Bombalski and Nadja Lanning. There will be a Memorial Mass held on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 11:00am at St. Catherine Of Siena Church, 2 Whitebridge Road, Pittstown, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations in Mildred's memory may be made to the Clinton First Aid and Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 5265, Clinton NJ 08809.
