Obituary of Alice L. Weidman
Alice L. Weidman, age 86, of High Bridge, NJ passed away on September 6, 2013 at the Bridgeway Care and Rehabilitation Center in Bridgewater, NJ. Mrs. Weidman was born April 6, 1927 in Chicago, Illinois. She was the daughter of the late Stanley and the late Lottie (Rutkowski) Stajkowski.
She resided in Mendham, NJ for more than 20 years and previous to that, she lived in Miami, Florida and Illinois. Alice was on the board of directors of the Community Habilitation Center (CHC) of Miami Florida where she worked tirelessly to provide assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities. She was an avid bowler and an active supporter of the Arabian Horse Association of New Jersey. She enjoyed cooking and entertaining her late husbands business associates and friends. While living in Miami, Alice was a parishioner of St. Richards Roman Catholic Church.
Alice is survived by her daughter, Donna Kahlke and her husband, Bill of High Bridge, NJ, her son, Mark E. Weidman, also of High Bridge,NJ and her cherished grandchildren, John, Christine and Melissa. She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband, Edwin H. in 1989, her brother, Robert Stajkowski and her sister, Virginia Stajkowski.
All services were entrusted to the Martin Funeral Home of Clinton, NJ and were held privately.
