Obituary of William F. Almind
William F. Almind, 78, of Palmer Township, PA passed away peacefully on June 28, 2015.
He was born July 31, 1936 in Ringoes, NJ. He was the son of the late Peter and Mary (Swadba) Almind.
He resided in High Bridge, NJ for over 40 years and most recently resided in Palmer Township, PA. He always enjoyed polka dancing with his wife and was an avid sports enthusiast who enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He had his own business as a successful carpenter and home builder in New Jersey.
He is survived by his loving wife Gloria J.(Subbe) of 60 years, his son William F. Almind of Blairstown, NJ. His son John P. Almind and wife Marilyn of Shiloh, IL. Daughter Patricia L. and husband Stephen Em of Frenchtown, NJ. and Son Daniel T. and wife Eileen of Effort, PA. Also surviving are his eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by sisters Ruth Almind, Marie S. Wirasnik, Alice Jensen, Jean D'Avella and his brother Peter Almind.
The family will greet friends and relatives on Friday July 3, 2015 from 9:00 until 11:00am at the Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton NJ 08809. A funeral service will be at the funeral home at 11:00am following the visiting. Interment will be at the Evergreen Cemetery in Clinton following the service.
