Mr. and Mrs. Hooper - I am so sorry to only recently have learned of Will's passing. We spoke before he went for his surgery and I wondered why he wasn't returning my texts. I met Will when he was working for Rosemount in Cleveland OH. He was a great Sales Engineer with a good heart. His creativity in art and sculpture will always stand out in my mind.
Please know he will be missed by many. He will remain in my prayers.

There is nothing so painful as losing a child and mere words do little to lessen the sense of loss at this moment. Let the memories - so, so many wonderful memories - carry you through these difficult days and rejoice in a life well-lived.
You are in our thoughts and prayers. Peace.

Mr. and Mrs. Hooper
I just want you to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I met Will in 1991 when living in Atlanta. We only knew each other for a short time while I lived there but we kept in touch ever since. He often talked about how much he cared about you both and his sister. As you know, he loved you all so very much and loved his visits to Clinton. It has been an honor for me to know Will and be his friend. His faith, creativity, sense of humor and thinking skills have and WILL continue to inspire me. Thank YOU for raising such an outstanding person. I know he is in a better place with a big warm smile!!! jeff

Mr. and Mrs. Hooper,
Will was a happy, gentle, wise member of the Crosspointe Community Church family. As many have repeated over and over again, you raised a son who loved generously and was a true friend to every person he met. We thank you and we thank God for sharing him with us.
Will's faith was steadfast, and his eternity is secure. John 14: 1-3: “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. 2 My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am." Will is now and forever where Jesus Christ is.
You have our love as well as our prayers for your comfort, strength, and hope in the difficult days ahead.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Hooper,
I believe that I met Will through the Fishers of Men choir when he was a junior in high school and I was a freshman. Our group of friends became quite close, going to concerts together (Will always drove), throwing parties (Will usually hosted), and having all sorts of adventures in Clinton and further afield. He and I later worked together at the Clinton Point Theater, which gave us another set of friends in common.
As time passed, Will and I stayed in touch, mostly thanks to his efforts. The last time I saw him was when he visited me in Arizona (as a side trip to the Grand Canyon/Canyon de Chelly trip he took with you, Mr. Hooper), but we kept up our correspondence via email and phone calls. Just when I would think, "Oops; it's been too long. I owe Will a letter," my phone would ring, and there would be his familiar voice on the other end, saying, "Amy? This is Will Hooper." (Always the first and last names, despite the fact that I'd known him most of my life!)
Will was a renaissance man, a true-blue friend, and a guy who always told it like it was. Mr. and Mrs. Hooper, I thank you for raising this good human being; I'm grateful to have known him.
With love, Amy

Dear family and friends, I am so sorry for your beloved son and friend. I had the pleasure of meeting this awesome man of God. He was in my Sunday school class at Crosspointe Community church. Every week his hearts desire was for God to heal and protect his elderly parents. The love he had for his parents, friends and for life was so amazing. Although his love, compassion, and zeal he had for Christ was very evident in Wills daily walk with Jesus. He did I fact reflect Christ. The love, compassion he embraced with everyone he met. He left a true reptiable legacy behind. He did more in his 53 short years than most in a lifetime. Will will be terribly missed, but never forgotten rest in eternal peace my friend, my sincere condolences. Angie from Crosspointe Community Chirch.

I have no words. Will was an amazing man, a good person, and loved by so many. He adored his family and friends.
Will and I reconnected in 2010. We knew each other as small children, babies, really, and hadn't seen each other since. He sought me out...did some research on behalf of his parents, who were trying to find my parents. Sadly, my parents were already deceased, but I called Will and we met up for a drink. As it turned out, I moved to Clinton with my new husband and his parents were longtime residents. Will and I had a wonderful evening catching up on 40 years - he was kind and funny, brilliant and engaging.
The night before he passed, he sent me a photo on Facebook. Will and I were small babies in the photo and our parents looked at us adoringly. We had a common bond, being adopted and so wanted by our parents. I am so glad he reached out with that photo - it made me smile.
I will miss Will. He was one of the good ones.

Some people have such a profound presence in this world and on others that their spirits brighten a day, enlighten a soul, and solicit the desire to emulate. Your Will was an angel on earth. No matter how infrequently we saw or heard of him, our chance meetings would impact us in a way that reminded us what a joy he was to be around and make us wish our paths had crossed more frequently in recent years. Our hearts go out to his family of loved ones. May you find solice is knowing how much your Will shared with the universe, and in knowing that his spirit will continue to affect others.
