Obituary of Jean R. Haydu

Jean R. Haydu, age 83, of Pittstown, NJ formerly of Edison NJ died Friday, September 4, 2015 at Country Arch Care Center of Union Township, NJ. Jean was born August 12, 1932 in New Brunswick. She was the daughter of the late Daniel and the late Ethel (Paradowski) Schiaffo. Jean worked for the Edison Township Library System as the Assistant to the Director for over thirty-five years retiring in 1998. Jean was a wonderful Horse Show mom and was always at the events, she also loved to travel and was an avid reader. Her husband Ernest predeceased her in 2008. Surviving is Jean's daughter Susan Haydu-Bok of Pittstown; her sister Nancy Gladman and nephew Duglas Gladman and Dr. Joseph Haydu. Friends and family will gather on Wednesday, September 9th from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton, NJ. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Thursday, September 10 at the Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, September 10 at St. Peters Cemetery, 425 Georges Road, North Brunswick, NJ. A celebration of life dinner will be held at 6pm on Thursday September 10th, at the Country Griddle in Clinton Memorial donations in Jean's memory may be made to DVHA Riding for Cancer Care Fund, P.O.
