Obituary of Anne Marie R. O'Connor

Anne Marie R. O'Connor (nee MacBrair)., of Clinton, N.J. passed away on Monday, October 5, 2015 at Hunterdon Medical Center. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y. she was the daughter of the late Gerard and Annette (McKeon) MacBrair. She lived in Hoboken and Bloomfield before moving to Clinton in 2009. Anne Marie was a 1957 graduate of St. Vincent's School of Nursing in New York. She worked for many years as a Public Health Nurse, and at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Jersey as well as School Nurse at St. Rocco's School in Newark. She also worked as a nurse for Bamberger's Department Store. Anne Marie is survived by her four children, Richard and his wife Helen of Hillsborough, N.J.; Kathy Van Natta and her husband Alan of Clinton, N.J.; Patti Parks and her husband Brantley of Hampstead, MD; and Beth Hess and her husband Andy of Chester, N.J. She is the devoted grandmother of Teresa, Patrick, Connor, Will, Kaitie, Emily, Karen and Richard. Anne Marie is also survived by her sister, Kathy Maguire of Bloomfield, N.J. and brother, Jerry MacBrair of Hammonton, N.J. Her husband Richard predeceased her in 1994. Visiting will be held on Wednesday October 7, 2015 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31S, Clinton, N.J.08809 and on Thursday morning from 9:00 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM at Immaculate Conception Church, Old Allerton Road, Clinton Twsp., N.J. Interment will be at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, 712 Grove Street, Upper Montclair, N.J. 07043.
