Obituary of Marie Peters

"The Lady with The Smile" Peters, Marie, 96, long time resident of Maplewood, N.J. passed peacefully at the home of her daughter in Annandale, N.J. Married for 67 years to her late husband, Edwin Peters, she called Maplewood her home for 50 years before moving to Annandale, N.J. in 2006. Marie and Edwin owned and operated Peters' Bakery in Maplewood Village for over 20 years. Marie will be remembered for her gorgeous, warm smile, her friendly manor and her love of life. She brought joy to everyone. Marie is survived by her daughter, Trudi Peters Goral; two sons, Edwin, Jr. and Walter, five grandsons, fourteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Her extended family added an additional eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren to her circle of love. Marie will be greatly missed. A gathering of friends and family will be held on Sunday October 11, 2015 at Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Rout 31 S., Clinton, N.J. 08809 from 11:00am until 3:00PM. A Celebration of her life will take place at 2:30PM at the funeral home.
