We are so sorry for your loss. We were so happy that she was our children's second grade teacher. She taught them so much. We always enjoyed talking with Helen.

My sincerest sympathy to all who loved Helen. Working with her at Califon School was a learning experience even for the teachers. She welcomed one and all to her classroom and willingly shared all her life experiences. I am grateful to have known her.
So sorry for your loss. She was my sons Bryan 2nd grade teacher In Califon. I remember the poems she would have them memorize. I believe that was the reason Bryan was so good in multiplication. She taught them memorization.
I am sad to hear this. Mrs. Leonard was my second grade teacher and she taught my brothers as well. I remember all the crafts and projects we did with her, like Flat Stanley. She was a great teacher and she will be missed.
