Obituary of Brian Edward Erling

Brian Edward Erling, age 43, of Pittstown, NJ died suddenly on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 . Brian was born September 13, 1972 in West Chester, PA.. He is the son of Robert and Margaret (Yanchik) Erling. Brian grew up in West Grove, PA he loved playing all sports and received the Athlete Scholar Award for basketball. He was a graduate of University of Pennsylvania and worked for Verizon as the Vice President of Finance in the Basking Ridge Campus. He was a world traveler but loved being with his family the most. Brian was a true family man and a devoted husband. He coached his two boys in basketball and baseball, doted over his little princess and enjoyed entertaining at his home with friends and family. Brian is survived by his loving wife: Debra (Pruetting) Erling; he was the cherished dad to Zachary, Mason and Sadie. Also surviving are his brother Robert and his wife Lisa Erling of North Carolina, sister Lisa and her husband Robert Vito of Kennett Square, PA; his in-laws- Joseph and Doris Pruetting; brother-in-law Christopher and his wife Cheryl Pruetting; brother-in-law Michael; nieces Alexandra, Julia, Nicole, Katie and Kimberly; nephews Alexander, Nathan and Christian. Friends and relatives are invited to gather for visiting on Monday April 4, 2016 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at the Immaculate Conception Church, 316 Old Allerton Road, Annandale NJ 08801. A mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday April 5, 2016 at 10:00am at Immaculate Conception Church, 316 Old Allerton Road, Annandale NJ. Arrangements are under the care of Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton NJ. In lieu of flowers , the family would prefer memorial donations made in memory of Brian go to his children's educational expenses.
