Helen was the most interesting person I ever knew. She was so well versed she could talk on any subject and hold her own. We had so many mutual likes: Yankees, Hackettstown, history, etc. Her dry wit was right up my alley. She will be sorely missed by all. I have lost a dear friend. Our condolences to the whole Butler family. The "Queen" will always serve as an example to us all on how to live our lives.

What a loss to our community and to our church. But the one thing that will never be lost from this pillar of faith is Helen's love. She was just such a wonderful, kind person who seemed to make everyone around her feel comfortable and loved.
If Helen isn't in Heaven, what chance do we have? There's almost no doubt that she is still praying to our Lord so all of us can one day join her and enjoy her presence and happiness in God's Kingdom.
We love you, Helen.

Dear Ed and family. I'm sorry your mother has passed. I'm glad to have met her a few times. The history of her life in obituary form is lovely and I know there is so much more to the woman you called "Mom". Peace and love from Ed's old friend, Sally.

My deepest sympathy to the children of Helen Butler on the passing of their mother.
Mrs. Butler and her husband Jack, were two of the best parents that I have ever known as they were wonderful and generous people as all of the sons and daughters that they produced and developed were all great children whom I have been fortunate to know.
The passing of Mrs Butler is a tremendous loss to Hampton's Catholic community and to the Hampton Public School.
I know that she will rest in peace as her contributions made Hampton a better town to grow up in.

Sincere condolences, Monica and family, on the loss of your mother. She sounds like she was quite fascinating, actually, and lived a long and good life. It is tough at ANY age to lose your mom. I wish you peace as you begin thinking of her now as your own special angel. Tony and Suzanne
