Condolences to the Eckert family. Our thoughts and prayers go out to your whole family. Psalms 147:3 says God, "heals the broken hearted, and binds up their wounds." May God bring you comfort and peace.

We have many fond memories of quoits and shuffleboard in Irvington and Pittstown. We made a surprise, cold call to him when we were in Memphis several years ago and we met for BBQ. I still use one of the golf wedges he made for me. You left us too soon.

We are all so, so very sad to hear about your Dad, he was not only my business partner, a Western Electric co-worker he was my BEST friend for the past 40+ years. I loved all the 2 times a year Carlisle trips, and staying with Tom, Mary & the kids the night before we left for Carlisle.
We will all miss him so much, may God bless him.

Tom's many friends in the British Sports Car Club, Memphis are deeply saddened to learn of his death. A great collegue, friend, and enthusiastic lover of goofy old cars, he will always be one of us.
We had a lot of fun together, particularly on long drives to British car events. A trip to the Smoky Mountains where we met Ken Costello and drove the 'Tail of the Dragon', a trip to St. Louis that will live in storied lore for the torrential rain in which Tom drove his MGC over the tow dolly so that a bunch of us spent about three hours struggling in a continuous downpour to extricate the car and get it atop the trailer so we could wade 400 miles home!
Though we can't be in New Jersy to salute his passing, his many Memphis friends share your loss. Tom will always be missed.

Mary, Tommy & Valerie-
I remain deeply saddened by your sudden loss of your father. Tom was a great man, growing up with him as i was just a young lad in Mountain Lakes NJ, of course Mary & Tom were very close with my mother & father, George & Alice Lilieholm. I remember so many great times at the Trout Derby each year in Mountain Lakes, NJ or every year twice a year going to the Carlisle Pa for the car show! The Thunderbird club, and of course your dads passion for cars. He will be deeply missed by many people who thought the world of him.
Again, my deepest sympathy to you and your entire family.
With deepest respect;
Curt Lilieholm

My thoughts and prayers are with the family. I worked with Tom installing signage and whether it was goofing off a bit on the job site, or going for a "pizza pie", he kept me laughing most of the time. We would talk for hours about engineering, inventions, or just the last crazy thing our dog had done. I will always remember Tom as my friend.
