I was saddened to here of Curt's passing. We were room mates at Rutgers our senior year. We did everything together that year from diving to campus in the morning to studying at the library and going to the downtown pool hall at night. I left NJ in 1968 and we lost touch . I still have the last letter he wrote me. Somewhere.

Dear Barbara, Erica and Matt,
I look forward to seeing you at the Memorial on Sat. Sept 17. Please know you have my deepest sympathies and condolences for your loss, as well as from the rest of the Peters family. Curt was a unique man and personality whose presence transcended the stereotypes of our cookie-cutter world.
Cory and I will continue to keep your family in our thoughts and prayers. Curt was a very special man, husband, father and grandfather. It has alway's been a honor to be in his presence and to admire all his stories and music. Our creator has another angel with him. May you rest in peace.
