Obituary of John M. Mondelli

John M. Mondelli, 84, of Pittstown passed away Tuesday, October 15th. He was an Executive Account Representation of NJN publishing which included the Warren Reporter, the Hunterdon County Democrat, the Express times and the Star Ledger. John graduated Rutgers University in 1952 and served in the US Marine Corp. He had a hunger for knowledge and could be often found reading books in the library or learning new languages. John was a storyteller. His vibrant, young-at-heart personality would leave an impression with everyone he met. He was a mentor in life and would make his opinion known, although he was quite comfortable to "agree to disagree" and walk away with a handshake. John was predeceased by his sons, John and Paul. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Beverly, his niece, Pam Mondelli, her husband, Paul Pazniokas and his great-nieces, Francesca and Emilia Pazniokas. He will be missed by many and remembered fondly by all, for if you knew John, he was your friend. All services were conducted privately as per John's wishes.
