Obituary of Regina Jablonski

Regina Jablonski, age 91, of Phillipsburg, NJ died Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at St. Luke's Hospital in Bethlehem, PA. Born June 4, 1922 in Brooklyn, NY, Regina was the daughter of the late Frank and the late Marianne Jablonski. A longtime resident of the Sydney section of Clinton Township, NJ, Regina moved to Phillipsburg 11 years ago. After working many years as a secretary, Regina retired from AT&T. She also worked for Taylor-Wharton, Gebhardt & Kiefer Law Firm, Oliver Law Offices and Tarantola Trucking. She loved her pets and enjoyed gardening, cooking, Scrabble, crosswords and jigsaw puzzles. Regina graduated Clinton High School and volunteered at the Hunterdon Art Center when she lived near Clinton. She is survived by her sister, Pauline Apgar-Ajamian of High Bridge, NJ; her brother, John Jablonski & his wife, Sharon of Peapack, NJ, and her sister-in-law Joan Jablonski. Additional survivors include cherished nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, a great-great niece and four great-great nephews. Regina's brothers Edward Jablonski and Stanley Jablonski pre-decease her. She leaves behind many beloved friends and her care-giver David Bielanski. Regina's Life Celebration includes a visitation on Friday, October 25th from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton, NJ. Her funeral Mass follows at 12:30 pm Friday at the Immaculate Conception RC Church, 316 Old Allerton Road, Annandale, NJ. Entombment at the Immaculate Conception Mausoleum, on the church grounds, follows the Mass. The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses and support staff that cared for her during the last few months of her life.
