Obituary of Joseph Gromlowicz

Joseph Gromlowicz, age 76, of Asbury NJ, died Sunday, May 28, 2017 at his home.  Joseph was born January 17, 1941 in Phillipsburg, NJ. He is the son of the late Joseph and the late Zenobia (Karasirwicz) Gromlowicz.   

He served in the U.S. Army after high school and  was employed as a machinist with Bell and Howell.  Joe was a simple man who loved being home with his family.

Joe is survived by his loving and devoted wife: Elizabeth (Kovatch) Gromlowicz , two daughters: Lisa Reilly and her husband Sean;  Beth Scanlon and her husband James;  one son: Jeffrey Gromlowicz and his wife Eileen;  brothers, Raymond and Gerald Gromlowicz; also surviving are his adoring and cherished eight grandchildren, Kelly and Caitlin Reilly;  Joseph and Luke Gromlowicz; Thomas, Jacqueline, Emily and Ava Scanlon. His brother Kenneth Gromlowicz predeceased him in February of this year.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, May 31 at The Church Of Saint Ann, 6 Church Street, Hampton, NJ. A private cremation will follow after mass. Friends and relatives are invited to gather from 9:30am until 10:30am prior to the mass at the Martin Funeral Home 1761 Route 31, Clinton NJ 08809.
