Obituary of Barbara Gail Enos
Barbara Gail Enos, 77, of Union Township, NJ, passed away on July 5, 2017 in her home.
Funeral service will be held at Bethlehem Presbyterian Church, 2 Race Street, Pittstown NJ 08867 on Monday, July 10 at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Scott Bohr of The Presbyterian Church of Harmony officiating. Burial will follow at Clover Leaf Memorial Park, Rt 1 & Rt 35, Woodbridge NJ 07095. Visitation will be held at Martin Funeral Home, 1761 State Route 31, Clinton NJ 08809 on Sunday, July 9 between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. Everyone is asked to meet directly at church on Monday morning. Barb was born in New Brunswick to Lillian and Raymond Corcoran on August 28, 1939, and grew up in Iselin. She went to high school at Woodbridge Senior High and graduated in 1957 with the first graduating class of the new school. She worked as an executive assistant, purchasing agent, and credit union rep, for Mobil for over 25 years, after working for Exxon (Esso) as a stenographer. She enjoyed country music and dancing, photography, ceramics, bowling, camping, Sunday drives, kitty cats, and most of all - caring for her grandson. Barb drove in the Powder Puff Derby. She was a Twirler, Captain, and Drum Majorette with The Iselin Fife & Drum Corps between 1952-1962, and was the Corps President. Barb was involved in the John F Kennedy Memorial High School Band Parents Association, and the New Jersey Country Music Association, and was an Officer in both.
Barb is survived by her daughter Gail Bragin and her husband Brett, their son, beloved grandchild Raymond of Union Township, and daughter Sheryl Myers and her husband Marc of Bloomsbury, and two nieces and two nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother Lilly, father Mickey, and brother Ray.
