Obituary of Johanna Luberto

Johanna Luberto, age 82, of Bridgewater Twp NJ formerly of Hunterdon County passed on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 surrounded by her loving family at the RWJ University Hospital Somerset. Johanna was born December 2, 1934 in Ridgefield Park, NJ. She is the daughter of the late Peter and the late Irene (Ugolini) Feltri.   

Raised in Ridgefield Park NJ, Johanna graduated from Ridgefield Park High School  where she was crowned Miss Ridgefield Park High School. She participated in multiple pageants and earned the title of Miss Bergen County and Miss Arnold Constable. After she married the love of her life Vincent Luberto Jr. on June 5, 1954, she took on the most important role, that of a loving kind hearted mother who was a phenomenal cook. She along with her husband raised their family in Clinton Township section of Hunterdon County.

Johanna was an avid world traveler and enjoyed spending many winters on the east coast of Florida in places like St. Augustine and Melbourne 

Surviving is her loving husband of sixty-three years: Vincent Luberto Jr., two daughters: Renee Margaritonda and husband Gary of Denville, NJ and Deana Van Doren and husband Ben of Annandale, NJ;  two sons: Gregg Luberto and wife Cheryl of Clinton Twp, NJ and Peter Luberto and wife Adrienne of Washington Twp., NJ; Johanna is also survived by her adored ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian burial will be offered at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 5 at St. Joseph Church, 59 Main Street, High Bridge, NJ. Entombment  will follow at the Immaculate Conception Mausoleum in  Annandale. Friends and relatives are invited to gather on Friday August 4, 2017 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at the Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton NJ 08809
