My heart hurts that you are no longer with us, but I am happy to know that you are in heaven watching over us all and together again with loved ones. I will never forget my visits to your house where we spent hours feeding the deer, wild turkey and eating all of the ice cream Sundays we want. I was always fascinated by your impressive ski stories, and can only hope that living in Colorado I can become an expert skier like you. I will miss you terribly, but my family now knows we have a guardian angel watching over us.

I was lucky to meet Joe while waitressing at Franks Pizza in Califon. Joe came almost every day for an early lunch.
He always came in with a great attitude, a huge smile, and a big hug for me! If I was lucky and no one was looking he’d even share his wine with me!!!
Although I didn’t know Joe for too long I knew that he was a kind man and I will miss seeing him at Franks!
