Obituary of Frank R Cicero

Frank R, Cicero, long time resident of Bound Brook, died at his home on December 13.

Frank was born in 1935 in Muhlenberg Hospital and spent the majority of his life in Central Jersey.  In 1953, Frank was a key member of the undefeated Somerville High School Football team.  Frank excelled in the defensive back and running back positions at Somerville High School creating such newspaper headlines as “Cicero Scores Twice As 2,500 Fans Watch Game.”  He was recruited to play ball at several universities and settled on North Carolina State.

Frank found success off the field serving his country in the National Guard and as a salesman for J&J Distribution.  A master woodworker, Frank crafted one of kind pieces of furniture and crafts for his family and neighbors.

Surviving are his daughters Sharon Cicero of Pittstown and Karen Cicero Auld of Stanton, grandson Alexander Portner, son-in-law Bill Auld and his beloved cats Mouch and Sugar. He is predeceased by his great friend, Barbara Cicero.

Frank will be celebrated at a mass, Monday, December 18 at 10:00 am at Immaculate Conception Church, 316 Old Allerton Rd, Annandale, NJ 08801.  Respast arrangements will be announced at the mass.
