Dear Geri,
We have been away on a 25 day cruise and just saw your email. Thank you for sending me your email.
I am so sorry to hear about Pete. I always loved your stories of him or you two living your happy life outside of work.
while I did not know Peter, I knew his personality through you. His bio told me a lot about Pete which was not to much apart of our conversations.
Please accept my thoughts of support for you.
I miss your cheery presence.
Best to you in these tough times.
Fondly.
Roy

My heart goes out to you Gerry...we lost a very special person...and even though he is glad to be free of the pain and disability...it can be so hard to let him go...but I know for sure, he is dancing in The Light...keeping the music going until it's time for you to join him again...Love and prayers always, Laura

Petes was one of the good guys. He was a smart man, a great listener & very respectful of what you had to say whether he agreed with you or not. I shall miss our little chit chats on the phone & the Marine Gala Balls which I had the honor of being invited to. But most of all I'll miss the man himself...the guy from JC & a "Marine For All Time!"
Love, hugs & kisses!
And Geri...you will hold him in your heart until you can hold him in Heaven!

Dear Geri,
Jimmy and I are so sorry to hear about Peter passing away. We have been friends for
over 45 years, and Peter and you are like family.
We loved him very much. It was for us a honor to know him.
Peter is at peace now, and he will be with you forever and ever. God Bless Him.
We had years, and years of laughs, I will miss that.
Rest in peace my dear friend. Love you to the Moon and Back Again.

We loved and will miss Peter so much. We shared many a fun evening over a lovely meal and would laugh about so many things.
I would give Geri 'the look' over something Peter would say to my Paul and we would laugh so much because we both knew exactly what the other was thinking.
Peter was always a gentleman and a proud Marine. We are so sorry to say goodbye !

Geri, omg I just saw this. I am sorry sorry to read about this. My sincere sympathies to you. I always remember when we were younger Pete would always take us driving on the turnpike going from 14 B to 14 A. We thought that we were so cool. Dear Geri,
So sorry to read online about Pete's passing this past Tuesday. How blessed was our country to have had Pete's military service in past decades. And how fortunate Pete was to have had a devoted spouse like dear Geri, whom we all love. Deepest sympathy to the family. Peace and serenity to Pete and to Geri, now and forever.
Much love,
Dick Potenza

Pete was my best friend from grammer school (P.S.15 in Jersey City) and high school (Snyder High in Jersey City).
I remember sitting in Pete's yard in Jersey City, playing our guitars, and singing "Oh Donna"!
I was lucky enough to be in Pete's band, the "Solid State" during my college years. Pete was always fun to be with, and always a gentleman. He loved the Marine Corps, and was very proud of his service.
My wife, Carol Ann, remembers Pete as a great guy and a good friend.
I will neve forget my last phone conversation with Pete just a few weeks before he passed. I had found my old PS 15 graduation program, and we laughed together for almost an hour going through the list of graduates and commenting on each one.
I am going to miss him. Very much. May he rest in peace.
