Deepest condolences to the Phinney family for all the Veterans, active service personnel and their families at Project Horses for Forces! Also from all the youngsters at Drakestown Equestrian and Amy and Tom Holzworth - owners of Drakestown Equestrian - Jim made an incredible impression on them all.
We will honor Jim's memory at the farm each time we enjoy our picnic lunches around the tables Jim donated to the Project. We will keep his memory alive along with that of Mike Moretti at our Veterans programs.

Our condolences to Jim's family - we are so sorry for the loss of this giant of a person! I met Jim via Gem Vac Veterans and loved his zest for life, his love for children with disabilities and his love for the wounded veterans. Jim shared freely about his WW II experiences and became a volunteer with the horsemanship programs helping Veterans! He was such a strong motivator, and stood by me when I started Project Horses for Forces and he had a strong impact on the young people at our Open House. We will never forget you Jim.

My deepest sympathy to the entire family for your loss. As the days continue to pass, I hope the entire family find comfort and support in the people that surround you and the wonderful memories you carry in your mind and in your heart. May the words of 1 Peter 5:7 “ while you throw all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you” bring the entire family comfort and strength. Please accept my sincere condolences.

Sorry to hear of the passing of Jim, I as a former combat soldier and a member of GemVac; who spent time with Jim at GemVac and at Mane Stream where Jim always gave his help and guidance to those who were less fortunate and in need.
He was respected and a joy to have known. RIP
