To Bonnie and Family:
Yes Indeed...a wonderful person this man was. Had met him when I was nineteen years old and Mr. Alexander amazed me with his enthusiasm, sense of humor, generosity, and zest for life. He had a spirit that ever shined and had impacted my own life in more than words can say. This man lived a full life and made it beyond anything due to his strong will, spirit, and the best family members who I had ever met. Bonnie and Tony and family....will meet again very soon. God Bless all of you. Rich

Arthur came into our family and holds a special place in each of our hearts. For our sons, he assumed the role and position of a grandparent. For Kathy and I that of someone most dear. We were blessed with spending many holidays and family events with he and Delores. During those times, we searched countless antique stores, enjoyed many meals, engaged in conversations, played cards and of course, "slap the hand". He will always be with us in our hearts and memories.

I will miss my dad for a very long time. He was always loved and respected by me, Paul and Jeremy and Ben. I'm so happy he got to see his great granddaughter, Audrey at Easter. My dad was a charmer, a livewire and had an outrageous sense of humor. I can picture him laughing at Paul's latest Jersey joke which I didn't find amusing.
I have been planning his funeral service and making the arrangements for the last week and a half. I'm betting he's looking down from heaven and saying, "You did good, Avis. And if anyone doesn't like what you're doing, so be it." I'm so happy that he had such a long, fun-filled life. When I've been driving out to NJ over the last week, it seems so strange that he isn't there. I miss him so.

This Dad of mine was one in a billion! He was everything that made a person delightful, comforting, gracious, humorous, sincere, playful, spontaneous and loving rolled into a human being. I wish he could have lived forever, but he
has gone to a well deserved rest in a place that will not give his body pain. He was a joy to meet whenever you came across him, whether it be the breakfast table , outside in his fiefdom, or his law office--- you were the only person in his world at that moment. He loved like God would love to see all His children love each other. He laughed like life depended on it. He listened like the most patient understanding friend a person could ever have. My adorable Dad will be missed time and time again, and I will embrace those moments knowing he is somewhere every close by me again.

To the best granddad I could have asked for - I will miss playing hand slaps with you and forever losing, including the last time I saw you; your trademark lick of the lips and blue-eyed wink; your thumb disappearing act, which didn't fool even five year-old me; your subtle innuendos and the boyish look on your face when we unintentionally stumbled into the Irish version of Hooter's; your inspiring work ethic, and the iconic image of shirtless lawn mower-riding; your passion for the Mets and Duke Blue Devils (the latter, I'm afraid, clashing terribly with my Carolina Blue); and your outstanding sense of fairness and justice. I will always picture you smiling, and I will always smile myself in thought of you. Much love, your granddaughter Mandy
