John worked at East Orange PD in the 1970's and 1980's. I was a NJ State Parole Officer and we worked on many cases together. He was a good friend, a stand-up guy and a proud Veteran who served his Country during the Vietnam Era. Rest in Peace, John.

Sorry to hear this news. John was a proud Vietnam Veteran.
I enjoyed talking to him about different things when we were tour guides
at the NJ Vietnam Veterans Memorial. He will be missed by his many
Vietnam Veteran friends. Joe Kochanski

I met John through the New Jersey State Council of the Vietnam Veterans of America. We got along very well as we are both retired Police, and Police Officers have a common bond. John and Herb asked me to get involved in hosting Town Hall meetings on Agent Orange, both John and Herb were very passionate on spreading the word about AO, and with their help and guidance and after several Town Hall's the message of Agent Orange has been brought to the attention of many. John's legacy will live on for many years. God Bless.

I have a vague recollection of John from Our Lady of All Souls, East Orange, N.J. from the late 50's early 60's. May he rest in peace and be eternally with the Lord. Condolences on your loss to the family.
