Obituary of Donna Lee Tampier

Donna Lee Tampier, age 62, passed away peacefully on Wednesday January 1, 2020 at Easton Hospital, Easton Pa. She was born July 22, 1957 in Summit New Jersey to her parents Joanne (Paradise) and Francis Monahan. Donna worked as a Nursery School Teacher for 9 years at Kiddie U located in Mansfield NJ and then provided care as a Direct Care Professional for adults with developmental disabilities at Abilities of North West Jersey in Washington NJ for the last 5 years until her retirement in July. Donna spent a majority of her life residing in Hampton NJ and served as an Elder at the Musconetcong Valley Presbyterian Church. Donna was a softball coach for many years with the Hampton Recreation Association and enjoyed making corned beef and cabbage yearly for the Hampton Fire Department. Donna had a great love for the outdoors and enjoyed camping for many years. Donna loved to travel with friends, family and at times just with the “girls”. Donna enjoyed cruising with her husband and friends in the Caribbean, and her yearly trips to Maine with the whole family looking for Moose. Donna especially loved spending time with the joys of her life, her grandchildren. Donna was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend who will be missed by all who knew her. Donna is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, David Tampier, her son Keith Monahan (wife Sonia) of Hampton NJ, daughter Katie Skillman (husband Cory) of Lebanon Twp and grandchildren Dallas, Kiersten and Avery. She is also survived by her brothers, Jeffrey Monahan (wife Jennifer) of Washington NJ, Russell Monahan of St Johns Florida, Craig Monahan (wife Megan) of Phillipsburg NJ and by her sister in law Denise Monahan of Washington NJ. She was predeceased by her loving parents and brother David Monahan. Friends and Family are called to attend a memorial gathering on Sunday January 5, 2020 between 1:00pm and 3:00pm at the Martin Funeral Home 1761 Rt+ 31 Clinton New Jersey 08809.
