Bob was my godfather. He maintained a presence in my life into my adulthood, traveling to my wedding in Tennessee, and until just recently, when he sent some baby outfits for my then 6 month old twin boys. Our conversations always touched on music, and I always appreciated the way he kept in touch. On Sunday, I was asked to be godfather to a little boy named Winston. It's my honor to fill that role, and I'm thankful to have had a great example in Bob of what that role can mean. I send my most sincere condolences to the family, and to everyone else whose life Bob touched.
