The one constant memory of Susan is on LBI, sitting high on her deck looking out at the ocean smiling and surrounded by her living family. I will miss you so much.
I met Sue in 1955 in Sungei Gerong Indonesia. We were 11 years old & we were never apart. Went to school together spent every waking moment together. Our favorite game we played almost every day after school was a silly game called Slapjack. I remember we would sit on the coffee table legs crossed & had a deck of cards. One of us would turn over one card at a time & when a Jack card came up would Slap it hard! Whoever got a hand on the Jack would win all the cards on the table!! Laugh & laugh til we cried!!! So much fun. We couldnt stop laughing! We spent every moment together for 2 years. At our Stanvac reunion in 2002 we were reunited after 45 years of not seeing each other. I loved her deeply & my heart is with her in Heaven. Love you dear sue! Margie Pecko
Susan was one of the kindest persons I have ever known.......her delicate beauty matched by an inner calm and warmheartedness.
I remember David and Meredith playing in the sand in their backyard on LBI in the 70's when we first moved in and the warmth and sincerity of her invitation for Paul Michael to come over and play.
We shared many a conversation about our special kids.
I felt blessed to have her as my neighbor. I could always count on her to take the time to extend a hand, pay a compliment, lift my spirits.

It is with great sadness to read if Susan’s passing. I cherish fond memories of being her neighbor on Long Beach Island. She was a great gal, a wonderful mother and wife and a very good person and friend. My heart goes out to you
