I went to high school with Eric and Maurice. Eric had a great dry sense of humor and could always bring a smile and laugh to many people. I just found out he passed away and I am sorry you, his family, had do endure the pain of losing him. God rest Eric and may angels bring you and your family solace.
I miss you my friend. There is not a day that goes by when I don’t think about all of the fun and laughs that we shared. You were my friend and my brotha. I hope you know how special a person you were to me and the Simpkins fam. Until we see each other again, RIP my brotha.

Oh.... Being pregnant together with our girls... Spending countless weeks teaching in CM together ~ You made our team awesome! Many fun times at park services or taking kids for retreat weekends or birthdays & girl's sleep-overs..... Sharing small glimmers of life together....Regretful there weren't more. Sending gentle hugs & heartfelt love to each of you over the loss of one terrific friend, dad, husband, coach, teacher, faithful servant, Eric's smile will forever remain in our hearts~It will continue to shine upon us all until we see him again some day.
