To Mary and family,
I had the pleasure of working with Leo in my early 20’s. I have fond memories of going to Las Vegas on a business trip with Mary and Leo. Leo and I worked during the day and then in the evening we would all go out and enjoy Las Vegas. We got to go see Siegfried and Roy and enjoyed visiting the Casinos. After I had children, and discontinued working for several years, Leo rehired me at Supreme Oil until the company was sold. I called him occasionally but had not spoken to him in a while. I was shocked and saddened at the news of his passing. My heart goes out to Mary and the family. Leo was a hard working individual who helped anyone in his path. Rest in heaven and God Bless his soul.

I have had the privilege of working with Leo from Admiration and then Stratas Foods. You could always see the love and devotion he had for his wife and family..the pictures on his wall and the light in his eyes when he spoke of them. His dedication to work was unmatched...and he was caring, thoughtful, calm and fair, not to mention well respected through the industry. Leo was the rock of our NJ facility. Heavens gain is truly our loss. Leo...I’ll miss our daily chats. My heart breaks for Mary and your family. Until we meet again. Love and wintergreen lifesavers.

I worked with Leo at Supreme Oil. Leo was my manager. I have never enjoyed work so much as when I worked for him. Always clam or jovial, rarely ruffled. Always had time to talk things out or just talk about the weather, his beloved family, Hawaii, or what have you.
Not only my manager, I considered Leo a friend.
My heart and thoughts are with his family and friends. He was a very special person. I will miss him.

We are so saddened to hear of the passing of Leo, a wonderful man, husband, father and brother, that will be missed by everyone who was fortunate enough to know him. As I look back on some photos through the years, nothing but warm memories fill my heart. I can’t help but remember the time when Leo was learning to drive a stick shift in the station wagon with my husband Mike, for the first time, Stuck on a hill! Many lost years have gone by but I now have two brothers, my mother and my husband looking down on all of us. May we always remember them, love them and keep them close to our hearts. Sending our deepest condolences to Mary and the whole family during this difficult time.
Much Love,
Dorothy, Jennifer and Michael Sabodish Jr.

I got the pleasure to meet and work with Leo for the last two years. He was a great mentor . Leo was the heart and soul of our NJ Stratas plant and it will never be the same without him.
Work will not be the same. Leo loves to tell stories about his beautiful wife and family. He was such a happy person . He always looked at the bright side of things and kept a positive view. He treated everyone with respect . He spoke to everyone and was the one we all turned to when we needed help.
He will be greatly missed. I would like to send my deepest condolences to his family .

It is with great sorrow that I hear of Leo's passing. My very deepest condolences go out to his wife and entire family during this time. I had the pleasure of working with Leo for over 15 years, since his days at Oasis and I was lucky enough to work with him again shortly after, here at Stratas. Leo has always been a mentor, amazing coach ,leader and is highly respected by anyone who was lucky enough to have the opportunity of knowing and working beside him. Always welcoming, warm, kind, respectful and ready to lend a helping hand.. The list goes on.... I can without a doubt say that the world has lost a good one. Amazing people of his caliber leave an impression on you and he will always remain close in our hearts.

I can say this that during the beginning of my journey at Oasis Leo always made everyone feel welcome and accepted . For those who knew him we can all agree that we are sadden by this outcome . Let’s all keep in mind that no matter how many years we have been together or apart we will always stay humble and we will never forget the time we have spent together.
