Obituary of Jack Alan Vreeland

John "Jack" Alan Vreeland, age 69, of Asbury, New Jersey, passed away at home on June 19, 2020. Born August 9, 1950, in Somerville, NJ, Jack was the son of the late Richard and Frances (nee Smith) Vreeland.

Jack was a graduate of Bridgewater West High School. He spent his career as a steamfitter, a "magnificent manipulator of multiple molten metals". He was a lifetime member of Steamfitters Local Union 475.

Jack is survived by his partner, Patricia Bravo; son, Adam Vreeland and wife Nicole; daughter, Nadene Calhoun and husband Dutch; 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sister, Kathryn Meichsner and her husband Kerry; brothers, Richard Vreeland and wife Barbara, Jess Vreeland and wife Carol, and twin brother, Mike.

Jack is predeceased by his parents, Richard and Frances (Smith) Vreeland; and brother, Daniel Vreeland.

A memorial service in Jack's honor will be held at Clinton Elks Lodge 2434 on Saturday, June 27, 2020, from 3:00-6:00 pm. Please send any memories or stories of Jack to MemoriesOfJackV@gmail.com
