Obituary of Timothy David Hagan
Timothy David Hagan, age 21, of Clinton, New Jersey, went home to be with the Lord on Monday,
August 24, 2020. Born on October 24, 1998, in Ridgewood, New Jersey, he was the son of Robert and Susan (Denton) Hagan.
Tim was known for his beautiful spirit and generous soul. He worked as a direct support professional. He gave back to his community as a volunteer for the Clinton Fire Department. He had a passion for firefighting and serving others. His dedication to serving his community made his family proud. He was a member of the Church of the Covenant. Tim enjoyed spending time outdoors and being active. He could often be found spending his free time camping, fishing, hiking, tubing, snowboarding and drinking coffee. Tim's family will forever miss his kindness, bright smile, wonderful laugh, awesome hugs, and the love he had for his family.
Tim will be forever missed by his loving parents, Robert and Susan Hagan; brothers, Nathanael Hagan, Benjamin Hagan, and Joshua Hagan; sister Rachel Gresh and her husband Brandon; grandmothers, Agnes Hagan and Jean Denton; aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He is predeceased by his grandfathers, Robert Hagan and Robert Denton.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather in support of the family on Friday, August 28th, from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm and again from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton, NJ 08809. All that wish to attend we ask to please wear a mask and be mindful of time when paying your respects to the family. A celebration of Tim's life will be held on Saturday, August 29th at 10:00 am at South Ridge Community Church, 7 Pittstown Road, Clinton NJ 08809. Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, the maximum allowed is 200 guests with masks and appropriate social distancing. The service maybe viewed by livestreaming, a link will be published on the funeral home website prior to the service. Interment will then be held at 2:30 pm at the Westminster Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Lancaster, PA.
