Obituary of Elizabeth Masterson

Elizabeth "Lily" Masterson, age 79, of Lebanon Twp., NJ died Monday, October 1, 2007 at St. Clare's Hospital in Dover, NJ. Mrs. Masterson was born October 24, 1927 in Kilmactranny County Sligo in Ireland, the daughter of the late Michael and the late Ellen (nee Conlisk) Golden. She was a Registered Nurse employed by Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ for many years. Lily was an active parishioner of St. Ann's Church in Hampton, NJ. She enjoyed needle work, cooking, reading and coupon clipping for her shopping trips. She resided in Lebanon Twp., NJ for the past 24 years and previous to that, she lived in Florham Park, NJ. Mrs. Masterson is survived by her beloved Husband of 54 years: Anthony, her Daughters: Ann Marie Lombardo & her husband, Frank of Independence, NJ, Colleen Bystrak & her husband, James of Lake Hopatcong, NJ, Laurie Walsh & her husband, Kevin of Buttzville, NJ and her Son: Robert Masterson & his wife, Janette of Hackettstown, NJ. Additional survivors include: her Sisters; Nancy Bruno of Glen Gardner, NJ & Eileen Pierson of Aylesbury, England, 10 cherished Grandchildren and many Nieces & Nephews. Lily was pre-deceased by her Brothers, Paddy & Martin Golden. Visiting Hours will be on Thursday, October 4th from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Martin Funeral Home. There will be a Funeral Mass on Friday, October 5th at 10:00 at St. Ann's RC Church, 6 Church Street, Hampton, NJ #908-537-2221. The interment will take place in St. Anns Cemetery on the Church grounds immediately following the Funeral Mass. Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
