Obituary of James N. Austin
James N. Austin, age 71, of Hampton, formerly of Florham Park, NJ, died Friday, October 5, 2007 at his home. He was born December 6, 1935 in Atco, NJ. He served in the Navy from 1956-1960.
Mr. Austin worked as an electrical engineer and an iron worker for I.S.E. (Industrial Service Enterprise) in Dover, NJ before retiring. He lived in Florham Park for 42 years before moving to Hampton 8 months ago.
During his spare time, Mr. Ausitn was an ultralight pilot who flew ultralight airplanes. He achieved a Sports Pilots License. He also built and flew model airplanes and was a member of the GCA Model Club.
He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years: Edith, his son: James S. Austin and his wife Jennifer; His daughter: Eileen Kosakowski and his beloved granddaughter: Farrah Sue Austin. He was predeceased by his son, Jeffrey who passed away in 2002. He was also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visiting Hours will be Monday October 8th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at the Martin Funeral Home. The funeral will be on Tuesday, October 9th at 10:00 at St. Ann's RC Church, 6 Church Street, Hampton where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover following the Mass.
