To Betty's family, I send my most sincere and deepest sympathy. I just tonight learned of this so sad news, having tried to reach Betty at number given in e-mail several times. I am so distressed to have lost an old and good friend from high school days with the fondest memories of our re-acquantance at 50th reunion and then at my house a couple of years later in Naples, FL. We had such a good time and had high hopes of another reunion in NJ. She was such a talented and lovely lady and fun and clever and really, hysterical at times. I so enjoyed her and am just saddened beyond words. My caring condolences to you all.

Betty was the perfect hostess who made you feel welcome and comfortable with her wherever she might be. A fun co-worker on projects with the ultimate perfect touch to whatever she put her hand to. She looked so pretty when I last saw her as she read a note of thanks for her help with our dinner on 9/10.

The last time I saw Betty was in Pawleys Island, SC when she came to visit and we journeyed to Hilton Head to visit another high school chum, Bill Barraclough. We laughed (Betty had a wonderful throaty laugh) and gossiped and toured and Betty wore ravishing clothes. She had a great sense of style, she loved animals and flowers and her kids --a wonderful woman and friend.

Betty was one of our high school friends who kept in touch. After many years we got together again and met on Long Beach Island, NJ several summers when my family came east for a few weeks. Betty brought some grandchildren, (Sammy I remember), who played with my grandkids on the beach.
Like many of you I have some of Betty's beautiful holiday cards. A wonderful memory.
To all her family - we will miss her...

To an old highschool buddy who shared in our fun and games. I will never forget the great time we all had at Cape May after our 50th reunion. How very special that we all got together again. This is a very sad time. You will be missed.

Dearest All,
We can not begin to fathom the depth of your grief, losing such an incredible woman as your mom and grandmom. she had great wit and style; was compassionate and giving; defined "joie de vivre", and we were so fortunate to have shared in her friendship. I, especially, will miss her terribly; May she rest in peace.
Our most heart-felt condolences,
