Helen was my last Children's Storyteller at the Grandin Library. I was there from May14, 1991 until it closed in May, 1999. She was such a joy to work with. I don't know if you remember, but the Board of the Grandin Library gave her the red leather sofa which had been in the Grandin Room because she loved it so much and had contributed so much to the Grandin Library and its children. It's with great sadness that I read that she passed away last year. I have such beautiful memories of Clinton , NJ (from Memphis and now living in Northwest Arkansas) and Helen was certainly a part of those memories! Marjorie Goff

Please accept my deepest condolences. I was shocked and sad to read of Helen's passing. I have many fond memories of delivering your UPS packages and watching you grow over the years. I am blessed to have maintained a friendship over the last 20 years through our Christmas cards and the photos she sent of your ever growing family. I will truly miss our yearly contact. Please know you will be in my thoughts and prayers.
