In 1996 a college friend in California told me to contact Alan in NJ, convinced we wouId get along. He was right. We worked on many projects together. We traveled the country with teaching technology courses together. He was a tinkerer like me...actually much more accomplished. We had an easy friendship. Hanging in the print shop, serious and ridiculous conversations filled with laughter. He will remain an inspiration for me on how to live an authentic life and how to go with dignity. I will never forget cousin Al calling me and welcoming me to the family. Words can’t express how wonderful that call was. My kids remember all the paper scraps he gave them from the print shop- kept them in drawing paper for quite some time! Rest In Peace Al- I am sure we will meet again❤️
Cathy, my sincere condolences. Alan was a great friend and resource to the Letterpress Community. He never hesitated to share his advice, expertise and humor. I used to love listening to his stories. He will be sorely missed. May he rest in peace. Bob Bozzay
