I had the privilege to work with Mohammad over the last two years. He brought a great disposition and "sunny-side" approach to work and life that brightened our daily standup meetings. He was always eager to jump into a project, and the results of his work will continue to contribute to making the world a little better every day. He was a wonderful coworker and friend and will be missed.

We are so sorry to hear the news. Mohammad was a beautiful soul and he and James became part of our family in Lima, Peru. My mom adored him and he was always so kind to her! We met again in DC after their relocation and learned about the plans to start a family, and could not think of better parents than those two. We certainly were privileged to call him a friend, and will forever remember his kindness, his warmth and his beautiful smile. Our heart goes out to his family, particularly his mother, his husband James and his new baby, George.

So sorry for your loss. I met Mohammad in Lima, Peru volunteering at a Christmas party for challenged children. He was dressed as an elf and his smile to the kids was contagious. I could tell then how kind a person he was and how he truly loved kids. My sincerest condolences to all of his friends and family.

Mohammad Alnajadah attended Retro fitness. I am an employee and whenever he came in, he had the biggest smile. Always wearing his Superman shirt too. You could tell he was a super great person with how he presented himself. He asked me about my life and my future. I did not have the chance to know him well, but he made an impact on me with just a few conversations. He will be missed. I'm sorry for your loss.

I'm so sorry to hear the world lost another angel. Od like to share a story on how Mohammed impacted my only child's life.
My son who is now 25 was bullied and beaten back in 2015. He has mild Cerebral palsy, which provides him some physical challenges. I was scheduled to run a Spartan race in MD with my bestfriend shortly after being notified by the police that my son was beaten by peers, and it was posted thru social media. My son was depressed. As a mother, I had no idea how to repair the damage those boys did to my son that day. I decided to take my son with me to the Spartan race and to my surprise my son asked if he could participate.
Well I was worried as I didn't know if I could hold my own and watch over my son. But Mohammed and his friends were a Godsend! They told me not to worry. They said they would watch over him. It was the first time I ever met Mohammed. I learned he loved cats and he loved his husband dearly. On that hot day in MD he cheered and supported my son thru the entire race.
My son gained his dignity and self worth back that day. And I'm forever indebted to Mohammed and the other men that day for their support and care. If you have ever raced in a Spartan your shock is my shock. I can't believe some of the obstacles my son overcame that day with the help of Mohammed and the other men. It healed my son. He realized that day that he would not be defined by that one awful incident. He realized he was strong and he could overcome difficult obstacles in life. The kindness and support from Mohammed and the other men forever changed a life. And I am forever grateful for this random act of kindness.
So it is with great sympathy I send my love and best wishes to his husband, son, mother, family and friends. I hope you find comfort and so much love to surround you in these challenging days. May his son know how special his daddy is and how important he was making a positive difference in this world.

Hello Jayme. This is Mohammad's husband James. Thank you so much for sharing this story. I remember the day Mohammad and his gym buddies went to do that race. His kindness to your son is typical of what a warm and loving person he was. How honored I am that Mohammad chose me to love is beyond measure. I will share your story with George one day. It will help him know his dad better, and help George grow up to be kind and loving like his dad. Thank you again so much for sharing. -- James

To Mohammad, from his Spanish family
Few have the courage to live such an unapologetically genuine life. George's dad was a true inspiration. We will never cease to mourn him, admire his selfless kindness and miss his wine toasts.
Compañero del alma, tan temprano.
