Dearest Butlers....
It is with such a heavy heart I send my deepest sympathies to you...
I will always remember meeting all of you & Terry in our "Whisper Inn" days. Softball, pool playing, eating, drinking & laughing was the name of the game & such special times were created & will always remain in my heart...Your family always made everyone feel like they were "part of the family"...
I am so saddened that Terry is gone even though we had lost touch so many years ago...
My thoughts & prayers & memories are with you as you struggle through...

To the Butler Family, Terry was a brother to me and many in the IAAM industry. He was our MR SUNSHINE. Positive, personnal, and as comfortable to be around as if been childhood buddies. Terry was a joy to spot at a conference and share a story and a few tall ones. He is and will be missed by those he has graced with his smile and friendship. Our Thoughts and Prayers are with you all.

I hope everyone has fond memories of Terry. We met in High School and he was always a very friendly classmate. I know he is from a nice family having known his sister as a teacher and one of his brother's Matt. We recently spoke at our class reunion last year and it was great seeing his smiling face. My sympathies to all of Terry's family and friends, he will be missed.

I am very sorry to hear of Terry's passing. I got to know Terry better after we were out of high school. He was a class act, but that was not surprising. He came from a class family. When I think of Hampton, I think of the Butlers. And now there is one less of them, and that is sad. My condolences to the Butler family. Cherish your memories of Terry. He was one of the good guys on this earth.

My condolences to the Butler family. The Bible is a wonderful source of comfort. It offers a hope of living forever, not only in heaven, but also on earth in a Paradise. Psalms 37:29 states "The righteous themselves will possess the earth, And they will reside forever upon it." Revelation 21:4 describes the beautiful conditions God has in store for the earth when it states "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."

To the entire Butler family, our deepest condolences. We lost a great person and a great friend, but have wonderful memories to keep Terry with us; from high school days to recent visits. We’re so fortunate to have been able to spend a weekend with Terry over the past years, during his annual Yankees’ spring training visit here in Florida. A rock solid person, from a rock solid family.

My thoughts and prayers to the Butler family. When I think of my high school years Terry was a big part of it. He was warm, generous and fun to be around. Terry and I shared a passion for the Yankees which I am glad he held onto till the end (in spite of working and living in Red Sox nation)! He left us much too soon.

Our deepest condolences to the Butler family. Terry was a special man with a warm soul and a heart of gold - one of those people who could make friends with anyone. Fond memories of Voorhees, URI (he started when our son began college there - 2001!) and the Cape with Rosemary.

My brother, Ned and sister, Jan went to elementary school
and then High School with Terry. I went to school with Eddie. Our paths did cross now and then years and years ago. What I remember most about Terry was that he seemed rock solid as a young man and an all around nice guy. As I see from all he did with his life, I wasn't wrong about him even when he was a kid.
My thoughts are with the Butler family and all those who shared the planet with dear Terry.

My thoughts and prayers are with Terry's family and friends during this difficult time. I had the good fortune to work with Terry directly and indirectly since the Ryan Center opened on the URI campus in 2002. Even though he was the GM of the building, he was always out and about during events and never missed a chance to say hello. The URI community certainly lost one of the good guys and Terry will be greatly missed. I'll also miss chatting with him about all his trips to Florida for Yankees Spring Training. Rest in peace Terry.

Terry was a wonderful man to work under at the Ryan Center. I grew up working in the Box Office for nearly ten years, and Terry has played a key role in defining who I am. We always spoke on Mondays about the latest Sopranos or Entourage episode, and I always looked forward to Terry coming in to chat in the morning. He will be greatly missed, and was always uplifting and a pleasure to be around. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Butler family,
-James

In the four years that I knew him, and in all subsequent class reunions that I attended (Terry was at ALL of them!), one thing ALWAYS stood out about Terry - NEVER EVER a disparaging word for ANYONE! Terry was a "class act" before any of us knew what a class act was! You made the World a better place by being here...
