Dear Alyce and Family, Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers in a special way at this time. You and Jack have been used of the Lord to bless my life along with countless others through the years. I truly "thank my God upon every remembrance of you" (Phil.1:3) Now Jack is rejoicing in the presence of the Lord whom he loved and served. I am sorry that I can not come to the service but I was blessed by the memorial tribute video and pray that the "God of all comfort", grace and " peace that surpasses all understanding will bless and keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus". Dear Alyce, Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you go through this difficult time. We know Jack is rejoicing with his Savior, but we know you will miss him. It was wonderful to travel along with you and Jack via the picture presentation. It was especially interesting to see him in action in his dental mission work. Uncle Jack was one of my favorite people in the world. He was always so funny, happy, and full of life. After his strokes, I was still convinced he was in there but could not express himself fully. It was my joy to hear him say, “I love you,“ many times. One of my favorite memories of Uncle Jack was of him taking us to the amusement park by loading a bunch of us kids in his car’s backseat. We could hardly breathe, but we had a blast. I think Uncle Jack told more jokes than my dad, which was quite an achievement. He is with Jesus now, probably telling Him jokes and laughing with my dad. Uncle Jack was precious and loving, and he will be missed. With so much love, Debbie VanAtter
